As a mission-driven, charitable organization dedicated to serving all, we are firmly committed to, and deeply invested in, programs and services that support children and families experiencing financial hardship who otherwise would be unable to participate in Y programs which keep them healthy, connected and learning. We achieve this through grant, corporate and individual support which enables us to provide Y membership and programs at highly reduced costs, including preschool, camps and summer programs, Community Schools, mentoring, and after school programs. We're also able to offer Head Start programs at no cost.
Each year, thousands of youth and families are supported throughout central Maryland due to the collective efforts of our generous volunteers, partners, funders, donors, and associates.
