Each year, the Y in Central Maryland engages hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life in Y membership and programs which help keep them and their families connected, learning and healthy in every way.

Annually, we raise and invest millions of dollars from individual donors, corporate partners and other funders who believe in the impact of Y work and in our proven ability to tangibly improve both individual and community well-being. Funds raised support thousands of youth, families and individuals throughout central Maryland who experience poverty and need the help of a caring community to keep them connected to healthy community life and properly supported to reach their fullest potential. This includes Y Open Doors financial assistance for those who cannot otherwise afford Y membership, help for children and youth from all backgrounds to attend Y Camp, Preschool and Before and After School programs; support for Y food distribution for those in our community who are food insecure, and so much more.
