Small Group Training programs combine the energy and motivation of group exercise classes with the individual attention of personal training.

Small Group Training Programs

Programs vary by location. Here are just a few!
 

Freestyle

Freestyle small group training may include any or all components of strength, functional training, high intensity interval training, cardio, or other specialties.
 

BoxMaster

Participants use a boxing stand with 12 pads specifically set up to replicate different styles of punching, allowing combination punches. Through seven rounds of active punching and active recovery, you will hit every aspect of total body conditioning! All fitness levels welcome.
 

Box and Burn

A boxing conditioning class that includes boxing drills on the Boxmaster, endurance drills on the heavy bag, and active recovery between rounds. This fast-paced class also features suspension trainers, resistance bands, and medicine balls for a total body conditioning workout. All classes are beginner friendly.
 

Women on Weights

Women on Weights uses weights to maximize your exercise regimen and target specific muscle groups. Focus on proper weightlifting, form, and execution to achieve specific strength and power goals. Classes will use free weights, body weight, kettlebells, and many other fitness tools to provide confidence and mastery of safe weight training.
 

Healthy Bones

Healthy Bones teaches how to work safely at your own level to restore, keep, or improve your bone health. All fitness levels and those with osteopenia or osteoporosis are welcome.
 

Teen Strength and Conditioning

With a focus on the development of muscular strength and cardio endurance, this program consists of a total body workout which incorporates a variety of fitness tools in interval training, functional movements, and cardio supersets. This program will provides an opportunity for teens to develop kinetic awareness and social skills.

Small Group Training Loyalty Program

Consistency is everything. With the Small Group Training Loyalty Program, you benefit from ongoing training sessions that automatically renew each month for maximum convenience, consistency, and affordability. No interruptions, just steady progress! 

  • The monthly payment is drafted from your bank/credit card account on the 15th of the month. 
  • There is a minimum two-month commitment.
  • Sessions expire monthly.

Small Group Training Drop-In

Some Y Family Centers offer drop-in options for small group training. Drop-in is a good way to try a program before registering for the Loyalty Program.
