Y ASSOCIATE OPPORTUNITIES
VOLUNTEER FOR THE TROT!
Thank you to all of the Y associates who are volunteering to help make this year's Y Turkey Trot a big success!
If you haven't participated in the past, this event is fun, energizing and is over pretty quickly on Thanksgiving morning, so you shouldn't have any issue getting home in time to put that bird in the oven and enjoy the balance of the day with family and friends.
We need your help! There are still several volunteer opportunities at all six locations on the day of the race. Register below and help make this year's event our best ever!

By now you have hopefully seen our new strategic plan, All In On Community. In addition to the mailing sent to homes and the associate Town Hall events, we are also sending emails which summarizes our plan by each of the four core objectives. Here are the first two emails in case you missed them.

If you haven't already, please plan to attend an associate Town Hall event. These are great opportunities to ask questions and get answers. SEE DATES HERE and register in advance: log into Dayforce, in the menu select Learning, select Courses Catalog at the top, search for "Strategic Plan". Questions for each town hall can be submitted in advance to STRATEGY@YMARYLAND.ORG.
MAKE AN ASSOCIATE REFERRAL
If you know someone who would be a qualified candidate for our Y Head Start, Y Family Centers, or Youth Development teams, please refer them to the Y and potentially earn a referral bonus of up to $500 if they are hired. Click below for details.

OUR WORK TOGETHER
Dear Colleagues,
This week is a unique, hectic and gratifying one here at the Y, with the Turkey Trot on Thursday, and all of the wonderful (and exhausting) chaos that brings. This is an all hands on deck event for us, and so I want to take this opportunity to simply say thank you to everyone here at the Y for what you do to make the Turkey Trot successful. As importantly, I want to express my profound gratitude for everything you do all year long to make our Y and this community the best it can be.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday. While turkey is definitely great food in my book, the time we spend with family and friends over the holiday is food for the soul; the kind of nourishment that we all need to sustain us in our lives. That time is essential to “filling up our cup” and making us the best we can be.
