At the Y, we like to mix it up! In addition to our fitness, swim, and sports programs, we offer Y members a wide variety of activities for families and individuals of all ages - most of which are included in a Y membership at no additional cost!

Stay & Play
Drop your little ones off at Stay & Play for supervised fun while you exercise. For children ages 6 weeks - 10 years who are part of a Y family membership. Included at no extra cost!

Family Gym
Need room to run and play indoors? Enjoy a little family gym time where you can skip, hula hoop, dribble, and more 'til your heart's content! Bring your own equipment or use our equipment. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Family/Open Swim
Let loose and unwind with a fun dip in the pool with the kids! Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Parents' Night Out
Parents, enjoy a little "me time" to yourself while your kids (ages 3-12) enjoy fun games and activities at the Y! Activities vary by location and may include a crafts, games, and more. Children must be potty trained. Please register at least 48 hours in advance. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!

Familyhood
Familyhood events are fun, themed activities your whole family can do together! Make crafts, celebrate different cultures, innovate together with fun STEM projects, indulge in a little family-friendly competition, and more! Drop in and check 'em out. No registration necessary. Activities vary by location. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Funshops
Funshops expose youth ages 5 and up to fun, themed activities where they can learn something new! From cooking-related fun, STEM, games, and more! Drop in and check 'em out. No registration necessary. Activities vary by location. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Fun Days
When schools are closed, the Y has just what your kids need to make the most of their day! From 7am to 6pm, kids will enjoy tons of camp-like activities such as team games, arts & crafts, fun projects, sports and more. Pack a lunch and snack, bring a water bottle and get ready for a fun day off from school at the Y!
Family Events & Activities
From Healthy Kids Day to Happy Healthy Halloween to movie nights and more, we offer free events and activities for families to enjoy together at no additional cost.
Kids Cardio
Our Kids Cardio program for ages 8-12 is designed to teach youth how to use the fitness center cardio equipment properly and safely. Contact your Y family center to schedule a time. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Teen Quest
Our Teen Quest program for ages 13-15 is designed to teach teens how to use the fitness center cardio and strength equipment (excluding free weights) properly and safely. Contact your Y family center to schedule a time. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Leaders' Club
If you have a passion for doing good and want to grow personally, then Leaders' Club is for you. Teens ages 12-18 will meet new people, exercise, build confidence, get involved in their community, and develop leadership skills through weekly meetings, weekend retreats and rallies, volunteer service projects, Y trainings and certifications, and more! Leaders' Club runs during the school year and ends on May 31st. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Rock Wall
Take your fun to new heights! Open climb hours are available at the Weinberg Y in Waverly, the Y in Catonsville, the Greater Annapolis Y in Arnold, the Orokawa Y in Towson, the Dancel Y in Ellicott City, and the Ward Y in Abingdon. Included in Y membership at no extra cost!
Rock wall instructional classes and teams may also be available at participating Y family centers. Rock wall programs focus on safety and technique. Climbers also learn commands, rock climbing terms, tie-in knots, and play various climbing games. More advanced classes involve a greater focus on footwork, climbing strategies, and body awareness.
