Quality Camps

Most Y camps are ACA accredited, which means we run our camps according to the policies, procedures and practices that have been accepted as the best in the industry. We voluntarily go through rigorous inspections by outside professionals to ensure we continue to exceed state licensing regulations in health, safety, cleanliness, food service, programming, staff qualifications and training, emergency management plans, and more - up to 300 standards in all!

Exceptional Associates

Y Camp associates candidates undergo a thorough review process including "Camp Try-Outs" (a half-day of actual activities and scenarios), reference and background checks, and several interviews. Before working with campers, staff will complete a minimum of 30 hours of training that is specific to their role, including first aid, CPR and activity leadership.

As we make our way towards the summer months, we host special camp events so parents and kids can get more information on Y Camp. Come out, ask questions, get answers, meet members of our camp team and register online! We'll update this page as dates are confirmed, so please check back often!

CAMP RADIO EVENTS

Camp radio events are especially fun as we bring in local radio personalities to help us celebrate the upcoming camp season. These are not-to-be-missed events for the entire family! Activities may include s'mores (of course!), camp crafts, face painting, games, and great prizes like movie passes, event tickets, t-shirts and more!
