Send a Child to Camp

1 in 4 children who go to Y Journeys Summer Camps can only go because of the generosity of others. Last year, thanks to your generous donations, over 500 Maryland children got to experience the sheer joy of Y camp fun! But the need continues to grow.

Among the many camp programs the Y runs is Camp New Horizons for homeless teens. For eight weeks during the summer, Camp New Horizons provides these young people with skill development, job placement and a stipend. The number of homeless teens we can serve depends on grants and contributions. The day we open enrollment, we are
filled within 2-3 hours and there's always a waiting list.

Help us show these children that their community really
cares about them. In the end, it’s an investment that helps
us all--- one child at a time.

Please give what you can. Any amount will make a difference. Only $150 allows a child to participate in Y Journeys in Camping Fun programs for a week. Serving one homeless teen in Camp New Horizons for a week is $200. 100% of what you give goes straight to direct service for the children.
