We are engaging children in programs that reinforce the fundamentals, teach new, interest-based curriculum and stretch minds and bodies through a diverse array of year-round program offerings like drama, creative writing, science, environmental education, fitness, nutrition, soccer, marital arts, cooking, gymnastics, and many things in between.
The Y of Central Maryland is able to accomplish all this and keep our offering vital and robust because of the generous contributions of the community we serve. We depend on your support to continually re-invest in our community, to assure a strong and healthy future for us all.

Financial Assistance
The Y is a non-profit organization committed to developing positive character and building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Financial assistance is available on a sliding scale to those who would otherwise be unable to participate in a Y experience. Call your local center for more information. Gives four pre-school children a month of full time care, a hot lunch and a variety of learning activities in a safe, nurturing environment
Provider: $1,000
Supports children participating in Y Super Sports programs in soccer, football, basketball and more.
Advocate: $500
Provides a free session of swim and water safety lessons for seven children
Patron: $250
Provides a month of before- and after-school care for an elementary school child
Founder: $100
Sends a child to one week of summer camp.
