Q.How do I get to on-line registration?
A.Click on the online registration button on the left side of this page.
Q.Does my membership expiration date make a difference?
A.Yes. If your membership expires before the program begins, you will not be allowed to register for that program during the member registration period. You should renew your membership with the center, then register online.
Q.Why don't my children appear when I sign up online for online registration?
A.After entering your child's name on the form (when signing up under "otherwise"), click "Add Child" to attach your child to the membership.
Q.Is on-line registration secure?
A.Yes. The on-line registration site will secure your private information using a VeriSign SSL certificate.
Q.What information do I need to login to on-line registration?
A.You will need to know the facility access number from the back of the primary adult’s membership card and the date of birth of the primary adult.
Q.What is a primary adult?
A.A primary adult is the person on your Y account whose member number ends with the two-digit code -00 (dash zero zero).
Q.What do I do if I don’t have a membership card?
A.If you do not have a membership card, you will click a line that says “otherwise” and fill out the attached form in its entirety. That form will be emailed to your center. Once your center enters the information into the system, you will be contacted with your login information. You must submit your request at least 24 business hours in advance of the registration date.
Q.What should I do if I try to login and I get an error message?
A.You should try again with a different adult’s facility access number and date of birth. If you still get an error message, contact your center to find out who on your Y account is the primary adult.
Q.Do I have to login in order to see what programs are available?
A.No. You can look for programs without logging in.
Q.Do I have to login in order to register for programs?
A.Yes.
Q.What types of programs are available on-line?
A.Most of the aquatics, fitness, youth/teen programs, adult programs, and camp are available on-line. Choose "Harford" for the center if you are looking for resident camp.
Q.What do I do if I have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that does not appear on-line?
A.If you have a special situation or want to sign up for a program that is not available on-line, you must go to the center to complete your registration.
Q.How do I search for programs?
A.You can search for programs by center (ex. Towson), category(ex. aquatics), age, keyword (ex. Skippers). and program number (ex. 01101) For the center, category and age, you will be able to select from a list.
Q.When searching by program number, if the first number is a zero, do I have to type that in?
A.Yes. You must type in all five numbers (ex. 01101, 01302, etc.).
Q.Can I search for a program based on a specific day and time?
A.Yes. You have the option of doing an advanced search which will allow you to select date ranges, time ranges, day(s) of the week, and gender.
Q.What payment options do I have for on-line registration?
A.Your payment options for on-line registration are Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
Q.At what point is my registration complete and my space reserved?
A.Your registration is complete and your space is reserved when you have paid for your selected program(s).
Q.How long do I have to complete my registration(s)?
A.There is not a time limit set for completing registrations, however, you cannot allow your computer to be idle for more than 15 minutes. If you are idle for more than 15 minutes, you will loose your space and you will have to start your registration process over.
Q.Can I sign up more than one person at a time?
A.As long as the individuals you want to sign up are part of your Y account, you can register them for a program(s).
Q.What proof will I have that I registered and paid for a program?
A.You will receive an email confirmation notice that you will bring to the center on the first day of classes.
Q.Can I cancel a program on-line and receive a refund?
A.No. All cancellations must take place at the center as well as credit/refund requests.
Q.What is the credit/refund policy for on-line registration?
A.The credit/refund policy for on-line registration is identical to the center registration credit/refund policy. Please contact your center for their specific refund policy.
