Sports Coordinator(s)

Y of Central Maryland is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Youth & Adult Sports Coordinators for our Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Center at Stadium Place/Druid Hill Center, Towson Center and Walter & Betty Ward Center. The Sport Coordinator directs program development and operations of all sports, recreation programs. You will be responsible for supervision of: sports instructional programs, youth & adult sports league programs, gymnastics programs. You will develop, manage and monitor the budget related to the position and demonstrates sound fiscal management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field/experience; Ability to teach and demonstrate a variety of sports activities including: basketball, soccer, football, baseball and gymnastics; Knowledge of ACA standards and accreditation process.

Sport Instructors (s)

Y of Central Maryland is currently seeking enthusiastic, motivated physical education professionals for our Catonsville, Towson, Harford and Howard County Centers. In the position you will teach beginner sports league classes that include soccer, basketball, baseball, football, lacrosse and floor hockey throughout the week; Provides oversight and quality control for the consistent implementation of sports programs throughout the Y of Central Maryland including program delivery, customer satisfaction, retention and training; Flexible part time work hours; Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in PE or related field preferred plus minimum of 2 years of experience working with and /or coaching youth sports; and working with people of varying ages and backgrounds; Must have the ability to teach and demonstrate a variety of sports activities; Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
