 We have exciting full- time & part -time job opportunities available for enthusiastic and motivated School Age Child Care professionals at our   Towson Center and Owen Brown Preschool Center located in Columbia, MD.

Group Leaders, full – time & part - time positions

In this position you will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of programming for a group of school age children within a larger program. S/he will be responsible for participating in the creation of the environment and in communication with parents. Requirements: Must have high school diploma or GED; Applicants must meet CCA qualifications and be at least 19 years of age; Must have 45 hour approved school-age child care training and 400 hours experience working with school – age children. 

Group Aides, part-time positions at various Sites/Regions as follows:  

Harford County; Anne Arundel County; Baltimore County; Baltimore City; Howard County; Carroll County     

In this position you will meet the needs of Children in the program; You will assist in maintaining a positive relationship between SACC program, the surrounding schools and the community;

Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age; Must have up-to-date Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (within 90 days of employment). Must maintain a positive image for self and Y programs within the community and the school environment; Must support the Y of Central Maryland philosophy, mission and policies.

Note: Part-Time, Positions will be up to 20-25 hours/week.
