The Y recognizes that the availability of affordable, quality child care poses one of the greatest hurdles for working parents. As the largest provider of child care in the State of Maryland, we have a special commitment to families in central Maryland to provide them access to high quality affordable child care.
The Y is dedicated to meeting the emerging social needs of children and families throughout Central Maryland. Incorporated into our mission is a special commitment to under-served and underprivileged populations. Through funds raised in our annual support campaign and the United Way of Central Maryland, the Y offers sliding scale financial assistance to eligible families. The Y also accepts Purchase of Care vouchers from the Department of Social Services.
