Camp Weeks and Offerings

Weekly sessions of Y camp begin as early as 6/21 and end as late as 8/27.
Sessions vary by location and are subject to change pending any changes
with the Public School System’s school schedule or location availability.

(PLEASE NOTE: The correct weeks that are available for Camp Ilchester are weeks 1 and 5 - 10. The Camp Extras originally scheduled for week 4 at Camp Ilchester are being rescheduled. Check back for updates.)

Camp Hours

Camp Day: 9:00am – 4:00pm

FREE Extended Hours: 7:00am – 9:00am/4:00pm – 6:00pm

Y Camp at Sandy Point: 8:00am – 9:00am/4:00pm – 6:00pm

*Extended hours are not available for Discovery Camp (special needs camp)

Registration Fee & Deposits

A one-time fee of $35 per camper is due at the time of registration. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

A $25 per week per camper deposit is required for all Day Camps and Camp Hashawha overnight camp. A $10 per week per camper deposit is required for all Camp Extras. Deposits are non-refundable and are applied towards the total weekly camp fee. (Not subject to sibling discounts.)

Sibling Discounts & Financial Assistance

A $10 per week sibling discount is given for each additional child when registered for the same weeks of camp. (Not available online.)

Financial assistance is available. Funding may be limited due to demand, so it is recommended to apply prior to May 1st. Download an appplication now. DSS vouchers are also accepted.

Balance of Weekly Camp Fees

The balance of all weekly camp fees are due two weeks prior to the start of each week of camp. If the balance is not received, the camper will not be allowed to attend and the slot will be reassigned. A complete payment schedule is included in the Y Journeys in Camping Fun Manual.

Registration Options

Online - Online registration is available. An online account login and password must be created prior to registering. To take advantage of promotional offers and sibling discounts, you must register in person at your nearest family center Y as they are not available online at this time.

In Person - Bring your registration form and all applicable deposits and registration fees to the front desk of your nearest family center Y during regular business hours.

By Mail - Mail your registration form and all applicable deposits and registration fees to the primary camp location for your region. Click here for mailing addresses. Make checks payable to the Y of Central Maryland or submit credit card information.

Credit/Refund Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing and include the dates of the session(s) being canceled, a brief explanation and a parent/guardian signature. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our abbreviated Y camp credit/refund policy is below. Certain additional restrictions apply. If Canceled 2 Weeks Before the Week of Camp

• Deposit – will be left as a credit on your Y account for one year (less $10 service charge)
• Balance – if applicable, may be refunded. Credit card payments will be refunded to the card used. Cash or check payments will be refunded by check.

If Canceled Less than 2 Weeks Before the Week of Camp, but Prior to the Friday Before the Week of Camp

• Deposit – non-refundable, non-transferable
• Balance – will be left as a credit on your Y account for one year (less $10 service charge)

If Canceled On or After the Friday Before the Week of Camp

• Deposit – non-refundable, non-transferable
• Balance – non-refundable, non-transferable
