As a mission based organization, the Y is more than a collection of programs. We are an organization with a purpose which believes that being a part of a supportive, caring community is essential to good health and well-being.
Y membership is the best resource we have to create and support caring, connected and inclusive communities. That’s why we’re doubling down on Y membership as the unifying hub of Y community life.
As of January 1, 2023, Y membership will be the singular gateway to Y community life. Everyone who engages with the Y will be Y members with full access to Y family centers and all the many benefits which come with that.

Membership for All
Membership is the unifying hub of Y community life. Participants enrolled in the Y early childhood, school-based and enrichment programs below receive a Y family membership as a part of their program enrollment. This membership benefit is annually worth over $1,200 per family but more importantly, it provides a gateway to Y community life.

Help Affording Y Participation
Y Open Doors Savings lower costs to help make participation in Y membership and youth programs more affordable and accessible. We’ve relaxed our requirements to qualify for Open Doors Savings by expanding the qualifying income range and increasing the savings that can be applied. Additionally, we've simplified the application process.
If a family needs help to maintain their membership or program participation, they will be offered the opportunity to receive Y Open Doors Savings to help lower their costs so they stay connected to the Y community.
